xmas news

When we feel better, we do better.  When we do better, we feel better.

If we are drained, full of toxins and crabby over our holiday schedules – we’re more likely to make food and drink choices in alignment with overwhelm. If we are rested, fully nourished, hydrated and balancing our holiday schedules – we’re more likely to choose food, activity and drink in alignment with health.
Below are a few options to “raise your good feeling vibes”, naturally allowing healthier choices to fall in place.

  • Drink more water, add peppermint oil for Holiday fun.
  • Take 5 deep breaths several times per day to bring oxygen into your body
  • Gift yourself an hour of me time –Epson bath/get a pedicure or message/Read a book/Knit/cup of tea without technology/Walk in Nature
  • Eat before holiday parties and bring an appetizer along
  • Appetizer Ideas:
    • Trail Mix – Raw Walnuts/Raw cashews/pumpkin seeds/goji berries/mulberries/cacao nibs.
    • Cucumber slices with chicken salad on top. Chicken salad – dice chicken, apples, celery, California Pepper and mix together with GT all good mayo – top with a raisin or two. 20141207_141408
    • Mini Meatballs in Marinara with toothpicks.
    • Raw goat or sheep Cheese and Mary’s Gone Crackers or Flackers, serve with pear slices and pomegranate seeds on pretty dish.
    • Guacamole served with cucumbers/bell pepper/carrots/celery.
    • Homemade Roasted Garlic or Kalamata Olive Hummus and red bell pepper for dipping.
    • Shrimp cocktail – make GT ketschup and mix in horse radish for sauce.
    • Lobster tail broiled, cut into bite size pieces with an option of melted ghee for dipping
    • Chicken Wings: Click Here for BBQ & Honey Mustard Recipe
    • Salmon dip – salmon/dill/GT all good mayo/garlic/pink salt – use flax crackers for dipping OR toast Ezekial muffins, spread salmon dip on muffin and shred Manchego cheese on top – place in the broiler for a couple minutes, then cut into quarters for bite size pieces.
    • Spinach dip – squeeze frozen spinach, dice with red onion, water chestnut, garlic, dill, pink salt and GT all good mayo, serve with cut up veggies.
  • Bring Pallegrino and Lime to parties – ask for a fancy glass to enjoy your special bubbly drink
  • Instead of dinner & drinks out, invite friends over for coffee and a special clean treat – Try GT’s vanilla cake recipe & ice with Avocado chocolate frosting.  20150510_131802
  • Treat yourself to something restorative that is OUT of your comfort zone – gong sound healing, candle light restorative yoga, Meditation or Prayer, yoga nidra, crystal bowls healing, John of God crystal bed.
  • Donate: Clean out your closets of jackets, blankets, scarves, sweaters “especially the ones with tags”.  Cook for a family who are in the midst of tough times, get creative, it doesn’t have to cost a dime.   Heartfelt giving is direct access to feeling better!

Wishing you a wonderful and loving holiday season,
