Mouthwatering, Raw Chocolate Nut Bites

A delicious dessert to accompany you to any holiday party!  These are easy and no baking required.


15 Dates

1/2 cup Raw Cacao or Carob Powder


2.5 cups Walnuts

1/4 cup coconut flakes (optional)

2 TBSP Pure Maple Syrup

1/4 cup Chia Seeds

Dash of Vanilla (optional)


  1. Soak the dates in water for about 30 minutes, then pit and keep the water to the side
  2. Soak chia seeds in about 1/4 cup of water for about 10 minutes
  3. IN FOOD PROCESSOR, add dates, chocolate, chia seeds, maple syrup and vanilla.  Mix until you have a paste – you might need to add some of the date water if the mixture is too thick.
  4. Then slowly add 2 cups of walnuts and coconut, pulse those in with food processor.
  5. Set aside the mixture in a separate bowl and process the remaining 1/2 cup of walnuts until crushed up into small pieces (you may need up to a cup, depending on size of bites)
  6. Roll the chocolate batter into little balls and coat in crushed walnuts.  Store in fridge.
  7. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
