We are now in the thick of the holiday season. Deadlines are fast approaching and if you are like me, you have a to-do list a mile long. This is a great reminder of how I strive to BE.
I am betting that every one of us has a list that is much longer than the list in the picture and we are experiencing a lot of stress over that list. I know in the past, my lists were very detailed. I put a lot of pressure on myself for the holidays to be perfect. I felt that I was the one to make or break everyone’s Holiday – if I didn’t get everything done and decorated or buy the most and best presents for the kids and family that I was a failure and the holiday would be ruined for everyone. Those were the days of perfection.
When I saw this list, I breathed a huge sigh of relief and said – ‘Yep, that is what a strive for this year. These are what is important’. It is not the gifts, cards, decorations and cookies!
