Captain’s Log – a newbie breaks down his week

Captains log:

2012, the journey begins, we left port and immediately began taking in water, one gallon at a time, our payload today was 236.6 pounds, a little lighter than yesterday, a small loss due to all the sweat we lost during our weekly transmission to the Star Fleet Command. Per our new orders we replaced some of our usual fuel of whole milk with egg whites, no major mechanical problems resulted from the switch!! Mr Spock advises this course of action is logical, we concur with his assessment of the situation. We will maintain our new course until we receive further orders from Command….
